Niesy started PYC in 2014 with our famous Strawberry Cheesecake cupcake aka “The One”. She attended the Art Institute of Atlanta’s Culinary Arts/Wine Management program in 2008-2010. She started her culinary career working at D'vine Wine in Dunwoody, GA as a Sou Chef.
Niesy has taken multiple wine courses/certifications, that include WSET Certification Level 1-2 at Napa Valley Wine Academy and The Wine & Spirit Archive, Wines of the World; Online Course, Wine of South Africa; Online Course, Wines of Washington; Seattle Central Community College, and American Wine Expert Certification; Napa Valley Wine Academy.
She also obtained her B.A in Business from City University of Seattle. Throughout her studies of culinary and wine, it has motivated her to create our unique twist into the Food and Wine culture, by offering our signature pairing such as ‘Cupcake and Wine’ and recreating the well known “Champagne and Fried Chicken”.
Victoria is the Co-owner of PYC Sweets & Wine Bar. Victoria started working for her mother’s catering business as a teenager back in the early 2000’s as an assistant cook, and delivery driver. Victoria has always had a passion for adventure through Food and Wine and also Event Planning.
Since the start of PYC, Victoria has been the event coordinator for all of PYC events. She also holds the title of Operations Manager, until we expand our business. Victoria’s wine education includes Wines of the World courses and through travel (France, Spain, South Africa & American regions). Her education consists of a Bachelors in Business/HR management from University of Phoenix.
Ms. Kay is the mother of Niesy and Victoria Gaul. She recently retired from the Boeing Company in 2020. She worked at Boeing for 24 years as a Quality Assurance Inspector.
Since she has retired, Ms. Kay started her 2nd Catering/Event Planning business, “A Touch of Elegance by Kay & Jay”. The love for cooking has always been a passion of Ms. Kay’s. She started her first catering business in the early 2000’s, “A Sista with Flava” Throughout the years of catering and while she was still working for Boeing, Kay would host and cater her own small events.
Ms. Kay is well known for hosting her “Summer Citrus Party” annually. Anyone who knows Ms. Kay loves her cooking and especially her Fried Chicken and Catfish. She is the heartbeat to PYC and the reason Niesy and Victoria work hard to live on the legacy she created
